Background
Raymond McManus is an experienced corporate director. He started his banking career in 1960 and worked for more than 20 years at Royal Bank of Canada and Mercantile Bank of Canada. He then founded and led Cafa Financial Corporation, a private investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing and real estate before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of Laurentian Bank of Canada until he retired in 2007. He acted as adviser for a number of large financial transactions over the course of his career and was a member of Otéra's Board of directors before he was named President and CEO in 2011.
Mr. McManus holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from McGill University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Alfonso Graceffa

Alfonso Graceffa oversees all of Otéra's operations, with the exception of risk management. He is specifically responsible for the investment division. In this capacity, he oversees subscription, syndication and asset management activities in addition to conducting business development.
Background
Alfonso Graceffa's professional experience is built on more than 25 years of commercial lending in the field of real estate with responsibilities in underwriting, risk management and asset management. Before joining Otéra in 2008 as Vice-President, Construction loans and Workouts, Mr. Graceffa headed the team of Commercial Real Estate Loans for the National Bank of Canada where he was responsible for the origination, asset management and investment management of commercial real estate loans. Mr. Graceffa has also worked for Standard Life, Citibank and Barclays Bank.
Alfonso Graceffa holds a Master of Business Administration (M. B. A.) from McGill University.
Michel Deslauriers
Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Profile
Michel Deslauriers is responsible for the Finance and Information Systems departments. In this capacity, he oversees all accounting, treasury and auditing activities as well as managing loan administration. The Information Systems team also reports to him.

Michel Deslauriers has more than 25 years' experience in the creation, management and integration of multidisciplinary finance teams for major companies, some of which have undergone rapid international expansion. Before joining the Otéra Capital team, he successively held the positions of Director, Finance and Treasury, and Vice-President, Finance, with Ivanhoe Cambridge, a real estate subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. He previously held various positions with the senior financial management teams of Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and KPMG–Peat Marwick Thorne.
Michel Deslauriers has a bachelor's degree in commerce from Concordia University, as well as a diploma from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research in Public Accountancy of McGill University. He is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec.
Alison K. Chave
Vice-President and Chief Risk Officer

Alison Chave is in charge of the Risk department. In that capacity, she assumes the integrated management of the firm's risks. Her vice presidency includes credit risk management (credit, workouts and funding departments), operational risks, portfolio risks and real estate market risks.
Background
Alison Chave has been working in the commercial real estate sector for more than fifteen years. She began in real estate evaluation before joining Opvest, within the Mouvement Desjardins, as Account Director, Mortgage Loans. Afterwards she joined the ranks of Cadim, a division of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, and worked in structured finance management. She returned to Desjardins within the Asset Management team working namely as Director, Mortgage Loans and Institutional Financing and then assuming management of the real estate debt portfolio for the Caisse's Real Estate Group, a position she held until she joined Otéra.
Alison Chave obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Languages and Literature from Portsmouth University in England, and continued her studies in Real Estate Management at Thames University in England, Urban Planning and Real Estate Management at Laval University and Company Financing at HEC Montréal. She is member of the Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec.
Outreach
Alison Chave is very active within various associations in link with her sector of activity. She's member of the board of directors and Vice-President Communications-Marketing at the Fondation immobilière de Montréal des jeunes. Since 2008, she sits on a public private partnerships committee at the Institut de développement urbain de Montréal. She's maintained close ties with the CREW network (Commercial Real Estate Women) since 2005, both in terms of the international network as well as the Canadian affiliation and Montreal chapter. She counts numerous achievements within CREW in the promotion of successful women in commercial real estate and was president of CREW Mtl in 2008. She still sits on CREW Mtl's board of directors and is in charge of strategic planning.
Josée-Christine Boilard
Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Services

Josée-Christine Boilard is in charge of Human Resources and Corporate Services. In that capacity, she is responsible of talent management strategy, brand image management and specifically, of employer branding. She manages all human resource programs in addition to supervising corporate communications and marketing activities as well as general office administration.

Josée-Christine Boilard has diversified experience in human resource management and a thorough understanding of the financial services industry. She embarked on her career at the Laurentian Bank and the Institute of Canadian Bankers, and later joined the Bank of Montreal's human resources team. She then crossed over to the Société générale, a French corporate financing bank, where she managed human resources for all of Canada. She joined the ranks of Otéra at the time of its founding in 2008 as Human Resources Director and then acceded to the vice presidency in 2011.
Josée-Christine Boilard has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and Finance from Laval University and an MBA with a specialization in financial services from Dalhousie University. She is member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés and Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Irène Papavasil
Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary

Irène Papavasil oversees Legal Affairs and the Corporate Secretariat. In this capacity, she heads a team of legal advisors that provide support, recommendations and legal advice to mortgage lending, workout units, syndication, funding and asset management services. She also supervises all tasks linked to the Corporate Secretariat.
Background
A lawyer specializing in commercial and corporate law, Irène Papavasil has over 30 years of solid experience in real estate, structured investments, real estate financing and insolvency law. After working in a mid-size law firm, she went to work in the private sector as vice president and legal department chief in various real estate development firms, including namely M-CORP Inc. and Westcliff. She moved on as Legal Affairs Director at Cadim, a division of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, before joining Otéra's team as Legal Affairs Director and then finally acceding to the vice presidency.
Irène Papavasil has two Bachelor degrees from McGill University, one in Civil Rights and the other in Common Law. She is member of the Québec Bar, the Canadian Bar and CREW Mtl.
